Introducing little ears to the world of classical music, Classical for Kids offers the opportunity for families to attend a chamber concert performed by professional musicians from the Hall’s very own Albert’s Band. Each concert features carefully selected proper classical repertoire but presented in a relaxed environment for children to express themselves, with no expectation to stay still or be quiet. This concert is recommended for ages 4-11 but babies and budding musicians of all ages are welcome! Opulent Oboes: This concert will feature not one, but two of the Albert’s Band Oboe section! Join Louise Hayter (Oboe) and Maxwell Spires (Oboe & Cor Anglais) as they introduce you to some lesser known composers including Khachaturian, Bozza and Dorati as well as some popular opera arias by Mozart and a famous tune or two by Mr. Traditional himself!
