Collaging, scrapbooking and monoprinting with archive family photos and holiday pictures, creating a piece documenting your favourite place (or time!). Students will look at old family holiday photos, archive material and magazines to consider how we've spent our free time in the past! Students will use family photos with magazine collage techniques to understand composition, creating a scrapbooked image of their favourite places, times and destinations. From this, students will learn how to create a layered monoprint from their collages. Students will use textured materials to conjure their dream destination/environment and will come away with several outcomes documenting their travel wishes!
