The Fashion School was founded in 2012 by Caroline Gration, with the aim to promote a healthy attitude towards fashion and individuality to children, teenagers and adults.
Our tutors have at least a BA (Hons) in Fashion or Textiles, are DBS certified, first aid trained, Arts Award advisers and have experience within the industry and/or running their own business.
We offer after school and Saturday classes for children and teens of all levels, exciting half term and holiday workshops, fashion trips, luxe fashion workshops for grown ups, and creative birthday parties for children.
We’re an Arts Award centre! Our tutors are Bronze & Silver Arts Award advisers and teach this nationally recognised GCSE level qualification – ideal for aspiring fashion/textile students who want to create their own brief.
We’ve been part of the Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme since 2012.

About Christmas Gift-Making Workshop
Christmas is the time for giving, and we have the perfect gift-making workshop for you!Join us and learn how to sew a gorgeous velvet gift bag (or two) with a silk lining.
A thoughtful, personalised gift for a loved one, or yourself, and a great stocking-filler.
We'll teach you our top tricks to master sewing delicate fabrics, pattern cutting, and decorating. Made from sustainable designer deadstock fabrics. Beginner friendly.
INSTRUCTIONS
We provide all equipment and materials. You are also welcome to bring in your own fabrics. Goldhawk Road in Shepherds Bush is a great place to buy fabrics.
Please bring with you a bottle of water and a snack/light lunch.

ABOUT HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS AT THE FASHION SCHOOL
Diverse 1 – 5 day sustainable workshops for all levels.
We will teach you how to sew safely and confidently on a machine before guiding you through how to make your own garment.
We always have new patterns and fabrics so you can unleash your inner creativity.
Our experienced tutors are here to help in a fun and safe environment. You will leave with new sewing skills and a garment for yourself.
What’s not to love? Great for absolute beginners and learn valuable skills in our pretty ‘Sustainable Poppets' studio.
