The Fashion School was founded in 2012 by Caroline Gration, with the aim to promote a healthy attitude towards fashion and individuality to children, teenagers and adults.
Our tutors have at least a BA (Hons) in Fashion or Textiles, are DBS certified, first aid trained, Arts Award advisers and have experience within the industry and/or running their own business.
We offer after school and Saturday classes for children and teens of all levels, exciting half term and holiday workshops, fashion trips, luxe fashion workshops for grown ups, and creative birthday parties for children.
We’re an Arts Award centre! Our tutors are Bronze & Silver Arts Award advisers and teach this nationally recognised GCSE level qualification – ideal for aspiring fashion/textile students who want to create their own brief.
We’ve been part of the Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme since 2012.

About Make Your Own Signature Perfume
Hosted by Phoebe the parfumier who trained under Guy Robert, parfumier to Hermés and a good friend of The Fashion School.Open to children aged 11 upwards as they discover their own fashion identity and style.
What better way to do this than through discovering perfume and creating their own signature scent?
No sewing in this workshop and all ingredients and bottle included in the introductory price!
This is what you will do.
• Learn about the history and importance of perfumery in a lively icebreaker session
• Explore how the sense of smell affects our moods, emotions, and memories
• Experiment and learn about fragrance families, blending fragrances and balancing notes
• Create a custom perfume using a selection of high-quality ingredients
You will take home your own perfume in an engraved bottle with your name on. How wonderful is that? (By the way, you might decide to make a gift for your sister, mother, father or friend!)

Not suitable for anyone with allergies.
Do be aware that the ingredients used by Phoebe are from the most respectable sources and always of the highest quality, but as with everything, there is always the smallest and rarest possibility your child might develop a reaction. Do consider this carefully before booking.
