The Little London Music School was founded in 2011, by Rachael de Mestre after she realised there was a gap in the market for a comprehensive music program for pre-schoolers. “The aim of our classes is to teach babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers how to understand music and therefore how to appreciate it – there’s nothing quite like it out there.”

About Pre-School Music

 A class for children aged 2.5 years and up, designed as the perfect prelude to learning a musical instrument.

We introduce singing scales and intervals, clapping rhythms and key musical terminology.

Children will enjoy opera quality singing, use of child-sized drums, castanets and maracas, live cello, violin, viola or piano accompaniment and of course guest stars like a saxophonist, harpist and more.

Children must be a minimum age of 2 years and 7 months on or before the first day of term. We ask each child is accompanied by an adult who participates actively with their child through out the class.

This is an interactive class between adult and child.

Each child and adult pair will be allocated a full set of instruments to use exclusively for the duration of the class.

We ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes early for your class, and you wait to be invited in to allow us to clean thoroughly. As always, instruments will be sanitised before and after class.

Booking policy Bookings are made on a term by term basis, and prorated where there is availability. Siblings attending must also be booked in. Missed classes can not be refunded.

We do not allow mobile phones in any class.
