Founded in 2024, in Hampstead, The Well Walk Theatre is an independent cultural space where childhood meets adulthood. We like to think of ourselves as tightrope walkers, balancing on that subtle frontier where imagination engages all ages. The theatre has already been awarded “The Best Theater Building” for its delicate and innovative interior design, imagined by Artistic Director Zina Drouche. We produce in-house puppet shows that are completely unique, as they are created, written, and performed by a single artist — our puppeteer, and Artistic Director, Zina Drouche. Our signature puppet show follows the adventures of two grocery worker boys: Petit Pierre, and his friend Gédéon. Through these stories, Zina draws inspiration from her native Paris, offering audiences a whimsical Parisian life seen through the eyes of two boys. With sharp humor for children and adults alike, outstanding lighting, and playful sound design, the performances have become a favorite among local families and theatre professionals.
