Tiny Messy Hands is a weekly messy play and sensory play group based at Petts Wood Memorial Hall & Gardens in Kent, designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged 0–5, including children who are homeschooled. Our sessions focus on learning through play in a warm, relaxed, and parent-led environment where little ones can explore, create and get joyfully messy. Each 90-minute session is filled with themed messy trays, sensory activities, and open-ended play designed to support early development, helping to build confidence, fine motor skills, cognitive growth, communication, and social interaction. We welcome children at all stages of development from crawlers and cruisers to curious explorers and each week brings something new to discover. It’s also a lovely space for parents and carers to bond with their children, connect with others, and enjoy free tea and coffee while the little ones play. We run every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am, with both indoor and outdoor play areas available, whatever the weather. There’s space for buggies, baby changing on-site, snacks and drinks available to purchase, and two hours of free parking in Morrisons (with additional paid parking nearby).
