Tumble Tots was established in 1979 by Bill Cosgrave, coach for the British Olympic Gymnastics team of 1968. Since then, we have prided ourselves on being the UK’s leading structured physical play programme for children from 6 months to 7 year olds. Our programme has benefited more than two million children since it began, encouraging them to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle and the confidence to reach their maximum potential. Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence. Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child.

About Tumble Tots St Albans, 6 Months - Walking

The class offers a parent and baby an opportunity for exploratory play using our unique equipment whilst being guided and advised by specially trained staff.

Through exploratory play, the class aims to assist your baby through one of their biggest stages of development.

Babies can start the class when they reach 6 months and can sit up unaided and through carefully designed equipment setups they have the opportunity to develop the skills and strength needed to move onto each developmental stage at their own individual pace.

During the class circle times encourage parents to join in with development exercises which aim to build the strength of a baby’s both upper and lower body strength and aids a baby’s gross motor skill development.
