The Castle’s east front transforms into a magical skating rink for the ultimate festive experience on the ice. Glide around our ice rink right underneath the majestic Guy’s Tower. As you skate, enjoy the sound of your favourite Christmas classics. Looking for things to do near Birmingham at Christmas? Our outdoor ice rink is renowned for bringing joy to all who glide around her, come day or night. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or you’re still a novice, you’ll be captivated as you feel the blades glide over the ice within the grounds of the castle! Why not warm yourself up with a few laps of the rink? With skate aids for the kids*, and a handrail around the outside (for those who need it), all levels of skating experience will love to glide around the rink under the Warwick Castle turrets and towers. Our ice skating rink is one of the best in the UK, don’t miss the chance to get on the ice for a spellbinding skate with the most spectacular view in the UK! Your ticket includes: • 45 minute Ice Skating experience • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your ice skating time slot Skaters aged between 3 and 9 (inclusive) must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the ice. Children between 10-12 years of age must be accompanied to the ice rink by adults who are watching at all times. A ratio of 1 adult to 5 children will be accepted. Please note, children under 3 years of age are not permitted onto the ice rink.

Carols at Warwick Castle are held annually in the run-up to Christmas and are the start of many people's Christmas festivities. It is a great opportunity for families and people of all ages to get together and join in singing carols led by the excellent choir of St Mary’s and accompanied by the fantastic Royal Spa Brass. This year the event returns to the magnificent setting of the Castle’s Courtyard, 52 years since Lord Brooke invited Warwick Lions and Rotary Club into the Castle to hold the first event in 1972. The event has a wonderful atmosphere and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of stalls offering hot food and drinks including mulled wine. • Gates Open at 6.30pm, the event runs until 9pm. • Tickets are also available to buy in person at the Castle Ticket Office.
