Ways of the Wild UK

Looking for a different kind of playgroup? Join us every Thursday for a two-hour session filled with sensory play and wild exploration in the wonderful Conservation Area of Ravenscourt Park. Bring your little one(s), meet other families and engage in a bit of wild in the middle of the city. Expect mud kitchens and nature-based crafts - each week offers something new to discover! Together, we’ll explore the rich sensory landscape of the outdoors, rain or shine! This is more than play - it’s an opportunity to make connections, create memories, and develop your (and your loved ones') relationship with nature. We look forward to seeing you there! Extra Information As it stands, this group is best suited for mobile children. That said, we place no age limit on who can come to this group. We leave it up to your judgment to decide whether it is suitable for you and your family. Generally, Ways of the Wild will provide activities suitable for children aged 2-5 years. But don't let that put you off from coming! If you are planning to bring a child who is older or younger than this, please let us know so that we can try to accommodate them. Fortunately, older siblings have the entire Conservation Area to explore and make dens in (which often occupies them for much longer than two hours!). Dress for the elements so you and your child can fully enjoy the session. We recommend checking the forecast and bringing wellies, waterproof overalls, and extra layers. Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, blankets, and any other comforts to make your time more enjoyable. About Ways of The Wild Ways of the Wild's mission is to reconnect city folk with nature through events and workshops. We are based in London, conjuring up adventures for adults, children and our wonderful WotW community throughout the year, all the whilst addressing unequal access to outdoor education and exploration in cities.
