And because nobody likes the party to end, we are going to keep the celebrations going all weekend!

With over 60 penguins residing at Penguin Beach, we can guarantee over 60 different penguin personalities to fall in love with.
As animal ambassadors for London Zoo, our Humboldt penguins can certainly teach us a lot about how incredible this species is and how amazing their adaptations are.
Learn about their unique behaviours, habitats and abilities as well as conservation efforts to protect them in the wild.
Sadly, plastic is found in the stomach of over 80% of marine birds, and unsustainable and excessive fishing has caused a massive decrease in food for these penguins.
These problems have resulted in Humboldt Penguin numbers declining by 85% in the last 40 years.
By visiting London Zoo, a science-driven conservation zoo, you will also be supporting our work with wildlife around the world, including marine birds and fishing routes.
