Under the Little Red Moon, an Opera for Children Under Two
Our story for babies and their grown-ups begins with a red moon rising.
But why is the moon red?
Now it’s turned blue and it’s crying. Do the ladybirds know why?
Perhaps the little pond can tell us?
Or maybe the rabbits have the answer…
Made in consultation with paediatricians, English Touring Opera’s Under the Little Red Moon explores the development of language with the help of music and movement.
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved Tales from Acorn Wood stories are brought to life on stage for the first time in an enchanting lift-the-flap experience.
Poor old Fox has lost his socks!
Are they in the kitchen or inside the clock? And Rat-a-tat-tat!
Who’s that keeping tired Rabbit awake?
You can also join in with Pig and Hen’s game of hide-and-seek and discover the special surprise Postman Bear is planning for his friends.
Packed full of toe-tapping songs, puppetry, and all the friends from Acorn Wood, this beautiful show from the team that brought you Dear Zoo Live and Dear Santa promises to be the perfect treat for children of all ages
Anything is possible when we come together with a common goal. Jaw-dropping acrobatics and thrilling physical feats showcase the incredible power of teamwork in Light Work.
Combining contemporary circus and physical theatre to show the importance and power of the collective, the collaboration of individuals finds a way to rise out of difficulty.
Light Work captures and conveys the importance of interdependence in our social structure.
Accompanied by an original musical score performed live on stage, physical challenges provoke collective solutions by the building of human towers, throwing and catching one another with precision, acrobatic flare and a very human vulnerability.
