Students will focus on furthering their ballet skills through the syllabus of grades from the International Dance Teacher Association, additionally developing physicality and individuality. Angelina and her team of professional, young and qualified teachers run children’s ballet lessons in London, specifically teaching in Greenwich, Blackheath, Dulwich, Central London and Eltham. Our school has been created for those who would prefer national and international-level performing dancers to help their children through exams, or to simply enjoy the world of dance. This Grade 3 Ballet Class is suitable for children aged 9+ and lasts 55 minutes.

Beetles (Year Reception & Year 1 Children) Run, Clap, Catch and Score! BEETLES sessions will see your child developing “buckets” of confidence and self-esteem and will be autonomous in completing the rugby inspired activities on their own or as part of a group with the support and guidance of trained coaches. Parents can now take a well-earned rest on the side-lines but always on hand to provide a bit of support and encouragement when needed. Basic motor skills are now enhanced with more demanding rugby inspired skills, drills and games sequences further developing your child’s co-ordination, body awareness, controlled movement, and spatial awareness. The focus is on applying what your child has learnt to perform activities through planning and evaluation of their actions to understand and improve their performance. The basics of Tag Rugby and core values of rugby are now gently introduced with the emphasis of FUN still very much at the heart of the session. At the end of each session your Child will receive a weekly Sidney Sticker to collect and stick on their Sidney Sticker Chart. As your child progress through the RUGGERBUGS “Head Start” Programme they will achieve “SIDNEY SKILL AWARDS” in line with the programme structure and criteria. These will be assessed and monitored at the end of each term and allow a smooth transition into the next class when your child is ready. This Rugbytots class is suitable for children aged 3.5-5 years old. Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.

Primary classes are for children over five years old – first timers and those transitioning from younger classes are both welcome. Children will learn the foundations of classical ballet in a fun and rewarding atmosphere. Additionally, students will work on creativity, musicality and physical skills. Come along to the Conservatoire for a fun day of creativity! Ever wondered how paper is made? In this all-day workshop you will create your very own paper out of recycled materials, starting from the very beginning of the process and finishing the day with beautiful paper that you have made yourself from scratch. You will include fun details like flower petals and different colours, making your creation uniquely your own. Will you use your paper in a scrapbook or notebook, for cardmaking or collage? Or perhaps you will wrap a present in it?

Mighty Kickers are confident with boundless energy and this is catered for in the lesson plans. Our games are fast-paced and increasingly football focused, with fun still at the heart, meaning that even new starters easily pick them up. Children begin to understand the importance of team play and matches are gradually introduced. Mighty Kickers classes incorporate our rounded learning approach of play, practice and understanding. Play is the motivator and promotes continued and repeated practice. This disguised learning in itself is a powerful tool, however we believe in not only teaching the children how to perform the skills, but also to understand why and where to use the skill in the real world. This transcends all six areas of our curriculum: - Personal, social & emotional development, - Communication, language & literacy, - Mathematical development, - Knowledge & understanding of the World, - Physical development, - Creative development. Mighty Kickers teaches the fundamentals of football in a fun learning environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our Mighty Kickers receive quarterly badges which highlight the key physical, cognitive and football skills they are exposed to in our programme. Our Little Kickers absolutely love showing their badges to their teammates and family!

This class is for enthusiastic children who love to be challenged. Instruction incorporates detailed skill building drills that teach specialised body positions and movement patterns to learn more advanced gymnastic skills. Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close-by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Play and games are at the heart of everything we do. Our games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children just think they are playing. The more the children enjoy the games, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent play.
