Our Street Dance classes bring out a huge amount of talent, technique and enthusiasm in their students, and teach street dance to modern music. A lot of children learning ballet technique enjoy relaxing with street dance as an additional style to master, others prefer to focus solely on street as their dance style of choice! Each of our friendly and enthusiastic dance teachers have trained professionally and performed ballet, contemporary and street dance at national and international levels. Street dance lessons are taught to a particularly high standard, structured around choreography that will help your child’s technique, comprehension and ability. Both complete beginners and those with existing dance experience will learn and evolve their technique through structured terms of dance lessons. This Street Dance class is suitable for children aged 7+.

Mighty Kickers are confident with boundless energy and this is catered for in the lesson plans. Classes are suitable for children aged 3.5yrs - 5yrs old. Our games are fast-paced and increasingly football-focused, with fun still at the heart, meaning that even new starters easily pick them up. Children begin to understand the importance of team play and matches are gradually introduced. Classes are run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts)

Participants on Make a Film in a Day courses are given an overview of the whole filmmaking process from EUREKA!, through to ACTION! to IT’S A WRAP! Working in teams, these young filmmakers work against the clock to plan, storyboard, shoot, act and edit their film (complete with sound effects and music)… and by the end of the day their first movie is complete! Each participant receives a copy of their completed film to keep forever. No previous experience is necessary.

Our Toddler classes will build upon confidence your child has picked up as a baby and we can start to introduce basic swimming skills whilst keeping lessons fun and engaging. Your child will be learning fast and skills such as moving arms and kicking legs can be taught and built upon as lessons progress. Dance, play and move with imagination. This informal class is an opportunity for children to build their confidence, creativity and have fun learning movement with others. Experiment with fun dance exercises, creating their own routines or playfully make-up dance routines as they go. They will be supported and guided by our friendly, professional and experienced dance teachers every step, hop and leap of the way. The classes are broadly focused on contemporary dance, but each teacher will bring their own inspirations and styles to the class providing a truly unique experience. The class will be accompanied by Latin, Afro and Caribbean inspired music by Auris Delan.

Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close-by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Play and games are at the heart of everything we do. Our games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children just think they are playing. The more the children enjoy the games, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent play. Junior Kickers teaches the fundamentals of football in a fun learning environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our Junior Kickers receive quarterly badges which highlight the key physical, cognitive and football skills they are exposed to in our programme. Our Little Kickers absolutely love showing their badges to their teammates and family!

Little Kicks is the perfect introduction to the fun world of Little Kickers and is suitable for children aged 1.5yrs - 2.5yrs old. Children are introduced to the basics of football, dribbling, striking, goal scoring etc in a play-oriented yet structured format, using child-friendly but realistic football equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment. Classes also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in your child’s early education, helping them develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills. These classes offer a structured programme of ballet where pupils will learn skilled ballet technique and artistry following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The children will be encouraged to attend twice a week and will be given the opportunity to be entered into their grade examinations at the RAD.

Children in this class have attained a particular skill level, in this environment skill growth happens quickly. The approach to instruction focusses on the effort and the children are able to experience success. They are not afraid to make mistakes, which positively affects self-confidence, self-image and self-esteeem.
