About Chelsea Chess Club, 5-7yrs

This new group of our Chelsea Chess Club, exclusively for 5 to 7-year-olds, was created in January 2024.

Chess Rising Stars London Academy has designed the ideal environment to help introduce the game to younger children.

Lessons are shorter than at our original Chelsea Chess Club and will be in a smaller teaching group.

Your child will discover the joys of learning chess in an interactive and enjoyable setting.

We will work together on chess strategy and tactics, as well as associated skills such as sportsmanship, planning, and focus.

No knowledge of chess is required, although we suggest that anyone without a chess background join the club by week 3 of the term.

Additional Information:

• Trophies, medals, toys, and certificates will be awarded at the end of the term.

• The sessions will be taught by experienced members of the Chess Rising Stars coaching team, including Eric Eedle.

• Registered with the English Chess Federation’s Club Finder Tool.

• Map your child’s chess progress with Chess Rising Stars.

• The Chelsea Chess Club would be the natural next step for chess improvement.
