Join our volunteer team on Saturday afternoons for family craft activities inspired by the Museum’s collections.
Learn about some of the 350,000 objects in the Horniman’s collections, and discover more about music, nature, wildlife, and the world around us.
Get stuck into some crafts and have fun with our wonderful volunteers at these free, drop-in sessions.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
12 October - Celebrate Black History Month by making hanging clouds to write your dreams on – inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.
19 and 26 October - It’s getting spooky at the Horniman! This Halloween we are making bat baskets. Come and join the fun!
2 November - Join us to celebrate Diwali by making paper lanterns.
9 and 16 November - This autumn we will be learning about and making little hedgehogs!
23 November - Celebrate National Tree week by creating autumn leaf people!
30 November - Celebrate National tree week by making ink blown tree paintings!
7 and 14 Dec - This winter we are making and decorating wintery ornaments for you to hang in your home.
