Mini Picassos is an art school for children and adults who are excited about art, artists and being creative. It offers a wide range of art courses, as well as hosting birthday parties and running holiday workshops. We are based in Kensal Rise, North West London in a very yellow little studio.

About Vincent Van Gogh Big Sunflowers

 Van Gogh painted in an impasto style, using lots of chunky, bright paint applied thickly to the canvas.

In this workshop we explore the work of the famous Dutch painter, inspired by the Sunflowers masterpiece, we create our version, raising the surface and get really heavy with the paint, experimenting with colour and texture.

We use lots of different mediums such as pastels and oil pastel to make our art.

Make a clay tile and decorate a window suncatcher too. We find out all about this amazing artist.

Lots of drawing, painting and making.

Includes: Sunflower painting, artist profile, clay tile, window suncatcher, sketchbook.
