Step & Praise Company is a performing arts company tailored to children between the ages of 3-11 years old. Its ethos runs on the Christian belief of using the performing art gifts and talents as an expression to inspire those around us in unique ways. We desire to see children of all backgrounds participate in the performing arts without having to be exposed to inappropriate themes or concepts which is what makes the company so unique. We are child friendly and child appropriate! Our aim is to promote a standard of excellence in dance training and performing arts for children, youth and young adults whilst maintaining a positive and uplifting environment within the studio. We tailor each session created to our students need and facilitate engaging, interactive and energetic atmospheres in our sessions to help inspire our students whilst they learn! Not only will your child learn to dance, act or sing, but they will learn skills for life which they will be able to confidently develop with us over time.

About Tots Street Dance

Our Tots Street Dance Classes are suitable for children aged 3-5 years old.

Students enrolled onto our Street Dance classes will enjoy a fun, upbeat and interactive learning process.

They will explore moving through the space, recalling dance steps as well as creating their own special moves.

Through the mode of story telling and use of characters and puppets, our students will enjoy an immersive Street Dance experience that will engage all the elements vital to the development stages linked to Early Years learning which include:

Language development – through listening and responding to instructions

Kinaesthetic – through building up children’s motor skills by being able to move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space and handling props

Auditory – through children being able to listen and respond to music, sounds and rhymes

Imagination and creativity – Through the use of story telling and using characters to aid the learning of dance

Book a trial and see how your child gets on in one of our classes. Once the trial has ended, we will send you further information on how to get your child fully enrolled for the remaining weeks of the term.
