Clay Mudlarking on the Thames
Artfor5-11 years
SE3 9RQ, The Conservatoire
£78.00 per holiday camp
About
During this all-day clay course we will take an imaginary journey exploring the foreshore of the ancient River Thames, 'mudlarking' as we go... this means looking for treasures in the river mud!
Using air drying clay and other materials, we will make our own discovery box of found treasures encapsulating the rich history of London, from Roman pots, to mediaeval coins, to Victorian jewellery.
We will end the day making a treasure map of London with our new ‘discoveries’ marked on it.
