Let's step back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood! We will take inspiration from Maria Rivans’ dynamic collage work featuring film stars of the past, combined with a wealth of fantastical imagery. We will develop our creative ideas to design and make a headdress or mask to explore a chosen character or theme, inspired by the stars of yesteryear. Alongside this, paintings with theatrical subject matter will enable us to observe gesture, pose, and costume which will support observational figure drawing towards the end of the session.
