The Fashion School was founded in 2012 by Caroline Gration, with the aim to promote a healthy attitude towards fashion and individuality to children, teenagers and adults. Our tutors have at least a BA (Hons) in Fashion or Textiles, are DBS certified, first aid trained, Arts Award advisers and have experience within the industry and/or running their own business. We offer after school and Saturday classes for children and teens of all levels, exciting half term and holiday workshops, fashion trips, luxe fashion workshops for grown ups, and creative birthday parties for children. We’re an Arts Award centre! Our tutors are Bronze & Silver Arts Award advisers and teach this nationally recognised GCSE level qualification – ideal for aspiring fashion/textile students who want to create their own brief. We’ve been part of the Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme since 2012.

About FashionLab Career

Hosted by The Fashion School CIC.*

FashionLab Career is for the student who sees fashion as more than a hobby and wants to be in an environment with like-minded individuals who are looking to pursue the creative arts in further education.

You will be working with Caroline Gration (Director) and Sarah Garfield on industry projects, sustainability awareness, upcycling, experimental design, advanced sewing and pattern cutting techniques.

Lessons are taught in our new studio in Chelsea. Students will be expected to do at least 1.5 hours of independent work outside of their class.

Imagine that...

You are attending your fantasy Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York (think V&A), but to attend you must design and make your outfit.

What will your theme be? A historical event, a place, your favourite film?

Who will be your muse?

This class must be booked for the whole term. Daily rate only applies for a pre-booked trial class.
