Young dancers aged between 8-18 are invited to join one of our wonderful guest teachers in a series of workshops as part of our summer dance courses. Each staff member will be drawing from their practise in either North American/European Contemporary Dance, Indian Classical Dance or Street Dance to give your young dancer the opportunity to explore a varied movement vocabulary. All age groups will have the chance to work with all our teachers and a live musician throughout the week, learning both dance technique and exploring their own creativity in our creative-focused sessions. The theme this summer will be our environment, and each group will draw from one of the elements: air, earth or water. These themes will guide their creativity throughout the week, leading to the creation of a short piece that they will share with each other and their adults at the end of the week.
