With nearly two decades of experience, Toni loves to offer sequences which allow students to experiment and enjoy how their unique bodies move through different phases of their lives and is known by students as being knowledgeable yet kind and approachable whilst delivering dynamic classes which reflect her playful spirit. The underlying focus is to build strength physically and mentally to enrich the experience of our daily busy lives. Since giving birth to Alexander in 2016, Toni has been incredibly passionate about providing supportive vinyasa pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes which are known for being safe yet very dynamic. She is a Pre and Postnatal corrective exercise specialist and teaches Vinyasa, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga from her home garden yoga studio in Forest Hill. She offers privates and corporate classes subject to availability. Expect to receive quality, up to date instruction aimed at helping you understand how your unique body can enjoy movement. Live streamed online yoga classes are taught via zoom and in person. ​

About Strengthening Postnatal Yoga

Toni’s classes are carefully sequenced to strengthen and stretch out tension around the neck and shoulders to realign the spine to allow us to breathe more deeply whilst reconnecting to the deepest layers of the core and pelvic floor.

Toni honestly believes we can be much stronger mentally and physically after having our babies.

When we breathe properly, we have much more energy and a balanced nervous system.

We incorporate constant, steady breathing whilst strengthening the whole body through a safe flowing Vinyasa-style practice (which the babies find naturally hypnotic and enjoyable), focusing on the pelvic floor, TVA, obliques, anterior and posterior core and always finishing with much-needed and loved relaxation.

It’s a wonderful way to meet other mothers and babies making lasting new friendships.

It is important to rest and bond with your baby until 6 weeks after birth. When you have consulted your doctor and are ready to return to practice we provide postnatal classes which are suitable for mothers with or without baby.
