Mighty Kickers are confident with boundless energy and this is catered for in the lesson plans. Classes are suitable for children aged 3.5yrs - 5yrs old. Our games are fast-paced and increasingly football-focused, with fun still at the heart, meaning that even new starters easily pick them up. Children begin to understand the importance of team play and matches are gradually introduced. Mega Kickers is the culmination of the preceding age groups and is suitable for children aged 5yrs – 7.5yrs old. It brings together all the skills learnt and introduces them to real football matches. Children continue to develop their social and cognitive skills as well as honing their football skills, putting them to use at the end of each session during the 20-minute match. There is a focus on fair play, as well as a focus on knowledge, understanding and practical application of the rules of play. Classes run on a rolling monthly billing cycle (*plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts).

Children in this class have attained a particular skill level, in this environment skill growth happens quickly. The approach to instruction focusses on the effort and the children are able to experience success. They are not afraid to make mistakes, which positively affects self-confidence, self-image and self-esteeem. During this class your child will focus on the following skills: Tumbling: - Backwards rolls on a flat mat - Dive cartwheels - Handstand 90 degree pirouette - Bridge kick over - Front handspring - Back handsprings with support Beam: - Squat on mount - Jump variations - Cartwheel on the low beam Bar: - Back hip circle - Front hip circle with support - High bar skills Please contact The Little Gym for a full price list. Children will learn about comics and cartoon history and how they have been used as tools for storytelling and communication over the years. 1. INTRODUCTION: Overview of comics and cartoon history and how they been used as tools for storytelling and communication over the years. 2. BASIC ANATOMY: Showing how the human body works and is designed to move. 3. CHARACTER DESIGN: How to work up designs for different types of characters and how they fit into the stories you want to tell. 4. STORYTELLING: Overview of comics storytelling, layout and structure. 5. SCRIPTING & LETTERING: A look at the basics of comics scriptwriting and how to produce clear lettering by hand for comics. 6. COLOURING: An exploration of different colouring techniques (including, if possible, computer colouring). 7. COMIC STRIP: Using the skills gathered so far, students will work on their own comic stories. 8. COMPLETE FINISHED COMIC: By the end of the course each student will produce their own complete 8 - 12 page comic strip. This Comic camp is suitable for children ages 7-14 years old.

KEY FEATURES: - Children play independently of their parent/guardian - 45-minute class - Weekly classes - Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) - Each new starter receives a football kit - 6 unique badges to collect across the Mighty Kickers programme Mighty Kickers classes incorporate our rounded learning approach of play, practice and understanding. Play is the motivator and promotes continued and repeated practice. This disguised learning in itself is a powerful tool, however we believe in not only teaching the children how to perform the skills, but also to understand why and where to use the skill in the real world. This transcends all six areas of our curriculum: - Personal, social & emotional development, - Communication, language & literacy, - Mathematical development, - Knowledge & understanding of the World, - Physical development, - Creative development. Mighty Kickers teaches the fundamentals of football in a fun learning environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our Mighty Kickers receive quarterly badges which highlight the key physical, cognitive and football skills they are exposed to in our programme. Our Little Kickers absolutely love showing their badges to their teammates and family!

These classes offer a structured programme of ballet where pupils will learn skilled ballet technique and artistry following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The children will be encouraged to attend twice a week and will be given the opportunity to be entered into their grade examinations at the RAD.

During these classes the language of Ballet, as well as knowledge of correct structural and muscular placement will be taught. Elegance, grace with strength, flexibility, expression and artistry are taught and students will learn the disciplines of classical, free- movement and character.

In our young toddler classes you will find a wide range of activities to stimulate this very active age group! We use counting and movement songs and different instruments to hold the growing attention span of your little ones. This class is more physical as young toddlers benefit greatly from a lot of ‘hands - on’ musical play with their adults! We start to introduce concepts that are developed fully in the pre-school classes, such as listening and responding, counting, colours, getting out & packing away the instruments, and how to bring calm moments to the class using teddies and lullabies. We will encourage you to dance with your little ones, hold their hands, swing them round, lift them up, bounce them around, make them laugh and harness all their raw energy into having fun together! These Boppin' Bunnies classes are suitable for children aged 18 months - 4 years old. Per term = £8/class | Per half term = £9/class | 1st time taster = £8 & Drop-in = £10 both subject to availability.

Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in Little Kicks and is suitable for children aged 2.5yrs - 3.5yrs old. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged both physically and mentally. Disguised Learning Through Play: Play and games are at the heart of everything we do. Our games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children just think they are playing. The more the children enjoy the games, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent play. Key Features: • Children are encouraged to play independently of the parent/guardian • 45-minute class • Weekly classes • Two coaches for up to 18 children (max) • Each new starter receives a football kit • 4 unique badges to collect across the Junior Kickers programme For those children who started in Little Kicks, independent participation is encouraged. If your child has just joined us you may need to stay close by for a few weeks, but the ultimate goal is for children to be able to participate on their own. The format remains learning through play and because children are allowed to work to their own ability, it is suitable for complete beginners. Classes are £35 per month and run on a rolling monthly billing cycle, plus a one-off registration fee which includes your child’s shirt and shorts of £22.50.

Little Piccolos music classes give little ones a fun and creative introduction to the fundamentals of music and make space for adults and babies to bond through music. Classes are acoustic and led by trained musicians. Each 30-minute class is filled with exploring musical instruments and singing original and traditional songs that gently introduce the beat, rhythm, pitch and dynamic. These classes are best suited for babies aged 3 or 4 months and older as they begin to develop their awareness of the world around them.
