About Twisters/Aerials at Harrogate
A fun intermediate class for children aged 6-12 Years Old.Children in this class have attained a particular skill level, in this environment skill growth happens quickly.
The approach to instruction focusses on the effort and the children are able to experience success.
They are not afraid to make mistakes, which positively affects self-confidence, self-image and self-esteeem.
During this class your child will focus on the following skills:
Tumbling:
- Backwards rolls on a flat mat
- Dive cartwheels
- Handstand 90 degree pirouette
- Bridge kick over
- Front handspring
- Back handsprings with support
Beam:
- Squat on mount
- Jump variations
- Cartwheel on the low beam
Bar:
- Back hip circle
- Front hip circle with support
- High bar skills
