About Creative dance, 15-18 yrs
This Creative Dance class is suitable for children aged 15-18 years old.Your dancer will work with the same teacher throughout the term, building up their dance technique and learning different phrases throughout the term.
Your young person can expect to put this learning into practice through creative movement tasks such as choreographing movement both on their own and in small groups, all while having the creative freedom to play with their own individual movement style!
Our teachers draw on a range of dance practices (for example dance forms from the African Diaspora, Hip Hop, South Asian dance styles as well as North American/Western Contemporary dance styles), that will give your young people the opportunity to explore a varied movement vocabulary.
