Design, build, and expand a living colony on Mars. In this hands-on STEM+ camp, students work together to engineer a shared Martian settlement while crafting their own unique modules that connect to the larger base. Each session challenges learners to solve real problems future explorers may face on Mars—from shelter and energy to food systems and transportation. Students prototype structures, design functional habitats, and add creative, personal elements to the evolving colony. By the end of the camp, the group will have constructed a collaborative Martian world that blends engineering, imagination, and systems thinking. • Engage in a hands-on project designed to make a Mars colony ready for the spaceship landing and exploring what it takes to survive on the Red Planet • Design prototypes of structures, functional habitats, and add creative, personal elements to the evolving colony • Learn 3D software to bridge the gap between organic and mechanical. Students will use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to model specialized features for their unique Mars base. • Fabricate 3D-printed parts for their space ship and Mars colony • Pair with Robot Zoo for a full day camp experience: Bring snacks, lunch and water bottle! Guardian Creature Creator

Come to this camp and create a stuffed Guardian Creature of your very own. Through the exploration of the fascinating history of mythical and storybook creatures throughout time, students will: • Engage in a hands-on project designed to make their own Stuffed Guardian Creature. This isn't just a toy; it is a "Tactical Companion" designed to defend your team’s Citadel. • Learn about the rich history of mythological creatures from ancient myths to modern fantasy, discovering how civilizations used "monsters" to explain the terrifying forces of nature and the physics of the unknown. • Use fabric remnants to take a 2D drawing to a 3D stuffed creature. Students will master the transition from a flat blueprint to a three-dimensional form, learning the "Architecture of the Soft" through pattern-making and structural design. • Learn 3D software to bridge the gap between organic and mechanical. Students will use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to model specialized features. • Fabricate 3D-printed parts for extra character detail. Bring your creature to life with custom-engineered components—think wings, crystalline eyes, or reinforced claws. London Holiday Clubs for Kids FAQ

How can I find the best London holiday clubs near me?

Use Loopla’s search tool to find our full list of half term camps. You can filter by area and category to find the closest option to your family.

Are there any holiday clubs for three year olds?

Half term clubs and summer camps tend to cater to school-age children. There are sometimes exceptions for three-year-olds, though.

The Loopla search tool allows you to filter by age to find a class, event or camp suitable for your little one.

Are there any free holiday clubs in London?

As businesses, organisers generally can’t afford to offer free spots. But some of London’s best kid-friendly museums and galleries offer no-cost activities at half term.

These are great opportunities for youngsters to have fun while learning or making friends.

For example, the British Museum planned a week of artist-led workshops for its week-long Halloween family festival.

For something more outdoorsy, Royal Parks often run Discovery Days during school holidays, too.
