The ORTE Inspire Program – Discovery Pathway is a 4-day in-person experience in London for young people aged 6–19. Open to all young people aged 6–19, regardless of instrument, level, or musical experience, including complete beginners, the Discovery Pathway offers a unique opportunity to learn from world-class artists and educators across disciplines. Designed for a new generation growing up in an AI-driven world, the programme explores creativity, communication, reflection, and human connection through interactive workshops, discussions, and guided activities. What participants can expect: • In-person learning with world-class artists and educators • Interactive workshops, discussions, and reflective activities • Cross-disciplinary exploration of creativity and communication • A supportive international environment (ages 6–19) • Structured daily programme in central London • Opportunities for personal expression and critical thinking Lunch is included each day. The Discovery Pathway is open on a rolling basis, with limited places available. (Performance Pathways are now fully subscribed, and we look forward to welcoming an inspiring cohort of young musicians this summer. The Discovery Pathway remains open on a rolling basis.) We welcome participants who are curious, open-minded, and eager to engage with new ideas, perspectives, and ways of thinking! Programme highlights include: • Listening Beyond Music: Sound & Perception - Inspired by the work of Prof. Eric Clarke, Emeritus Professor of Music, University of Oxford. • Special visits and lectures at Steinway Piano London and other instrument workshops • A “Taste × Sound” sensory workshop in collaboration with a former Michelin three-star head pastry chef • Royal Opera House backstage experience • Special observation of Proms rehearsals at the Royal Albert Hall • Discussions with West End / Broadway musical performers on the theme of "pursuing dreams" • An exploratory listening activity inspired by Prof. Eric Clarke - Professor Emeritus of Oxford University, with students’ reflection papers to be shared with him following the programme. • The multicultural co-creation “Nextone Workshop” at the Royal Academy of Music and more.

Heigh-Ho Music, Highbury & Islington
Catchy sounds and up beat tunes for making Monkey Music! TIME TO SING Music and language have many things in common and Monkey’s action songs have been especially written to support your child's early language development. Colourful props aid visual memory while repeated actions reinforce a feel for the ‘steady beat’. TIME TO MOVE Moving and dancing freely around the room with Monkey encourages your child to express the music that they hear with their whole bodies. Exercising to music forms and strengthens neural bridges that are necessary for later learning. TIME TO PLAY The Monkey Music Band offers your child the opportunity to practise fine motor skills using hand held percussion instruments. Band members need a certain amount of self awareness and self discipline which comes with regular band practice! TIME TO SLEEP Toddlers need active time for exercise and quieter times for calmer activities. Listening is a critical life skill which we nurture with relaxing and soothing music to conclude each Monkey Music class experience. Our Monkey Music Heigh-Ho classes are stage two for toddlers from 12 months.

Jiggety-Jig: Monkey Music, Highbury & Islington
Older toddlers have fun with their friends and develop a strong musical foundation for their future learning. Time to Sing Songs for dressing up and telling simple stories! ‘Pretending’ is an important new area of learning as exploration and self expression builds self confidence. Through positive music interaction with each other, our toddlers are also learning important lessons about boundaries and how to handle frustration! Time to Move Toddlers are keen to get to know each other – bigger more exciting props such as hoops and parachute are excellent for sharing and making friends! Holding hands with partners in Monkey’s circle dances often makes the grown-ups feel very happy too! Time to Play Composing music is something that comes naturally to our Jiggety-Jiggers! Their strong musical foundation gives them super musical confidence. Props, images, music, stories and poems inspire our little monkeys as they create and perform their own special music. Time to Sleep Most of our classes end with a little time for quiet reflection. Our Jiggety-Jiggers are gently reminded to practise new songs at home using some song words which may be printed from the Monkey Music Club. They may also be invited to bring something from home, to show in class the following week, as part of class topic discussions.
