Jiggety-Jig Music, Chelsea
Older toddlers have fun with their friends and develop a strong musical foundation for their future learning. TIME TO SING Songs for dressing up and telling simple stories! ‘Pretending’ is an important new area of learning as exploration and self expression builds self confidence. Through positive music interaction with each other, our toddlers are also learning important lessons about boundaries and how to handle frustration! TIME TO MOVE Toddlers are keen to get to know each other – bigger more exciting props such as hoops and parachute are excellent for sharing and making friends! Holding hands with partners in Monkey’s circle dances often makes the grown-ups feel very happy too! TIME TO PLAY Composing music is something that comes naturally to our Jiggety-Jiggers! Their strong musical foundation gives them super musical confidence. Props, images, music, stories and poems inspire our little monkeys as they create and perform their own special music. TIME TO SLEEP Most of our classes end with a little time for quiet reflection. Our Jiggety-Jiggers are gently reminded to practise new songs at home using some song words which may be printed from the Monkey Music Club. They may also be invited to bring something from home, to show in class the following week, as part of class topic discussions. Our Monkey Music Jiggety-Jig classes are Stage three for 2 + 3 years old.

Ding-Dong Music, Chelsea
Ding-Dong children are now ready to learn to read music - this is a huge milestone and paves the way for a bright musical future! TIME TO SING Singing comes naturally to Monkey and his oldest friends. Everyone is invited to take the lead in singing games and to sing a solo ‘spot’ (not compulsory!). Familiar songs form the basis for vocal improvisation and encourage children to share story ideas. TIME TO MOVE Playing together and inventing dances is what our Ding-Dongers like to do best! Dance of the ‘Autumn Leaves’ is always a moving highlight of our Ding-Dong year! TIME TO PLAY Learning to read music is an integral element to each class. These clever monkeys use their new reading skills to compose and write their own music which they play with their friends. TIME TO LISTEN Each week the children focus on finding out more about an instrument from the orchestra. As they begin to recognise the different orchestral sounds, the children begin to express their preferences. This is excellent preparation for choosing which instrument to learn to play later on! Our Ding-Dong classes are suitable for Stage four for 3 + 4 year olds.

Starting with two schools in Primrose Hill and Islington, Perform has grown to over 350 venues across London and the South and West of England. It now encompasses hundreds of weekly classes for 4-7s and 7-12s, holiday courses and Perform for Schools - a thriving programme of workshops in primary schools. At Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential. With Perform, you're not just enrolling your child in a drama class; you're giving them a space to thrive, learn and have fun. Perform is more than just a drama school; it's a community dedicated to nurturing creativity and confidence in children through a unique curriculum of original content, imaginative games and fun exercises. With over 350 venues across the UK, our centrally-run approach ensures consistent quality and care, making Perform the ideal place for your child to grow. It looks like Rumplestiltskin isn’t happy. He’s sending the witches after you. Maybe Cinderella will be able to help… if she can get her nose out her phone that is! About Theatre Royal Haymarket The Theatre Royal Haymarket, known originally as ‘The Little Theatre in the Hay’, is a Grade I listed building situated in the heart of the West End. Designed and constructed by John Potter in 1720 it is one of Britain’s most treasured theatres. Circa 1820, all the buildings on the east of the Haymarket from the theatre southward were rebuilt in connection with John Nash‘s schemes for the improvement of the neighbourhood. Nash persuaded the proprietors of the theatre to rebuild on a site a little south of the old one so that the portico should close the vista from Charles Street. The theatre seats up to 860 patrons and is the third oldest London Playhouse still in use. Today the Haymarket strives to produce memorable theatrical experiences for audiences from around the world, and in 2018 Access Entertainment became the proud new owners of the Haymarket with the ambition to continue the theatre’s rich tradition of creative excellence and support for both the world’s greatest theatrical names and emerging and diverse new talent.
