Experience the enchantment of the wizarding world like never before! For devoted Harry Potter fans, the final chapter of the beloved series left them yearning for more magical adventures. But fear not, dear muggles! Get your Potter fix with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! What is Harry Potter And The Cursed Child About? Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up precisely where the last book's epilogue left off—19 years after the climactic Battle of Hogwarts in the Second Wizarding War. Harry is no longer the young wizard we once knew, but an overworked employee at the Ministry of Magic and a devoted husband and father to three children. But the past is a persistent force, haunting Harry's every step. Meanwhile, his youngest son Albus grapples with the daunting weight of a family legacy he never asked for nor desired. Prepare for spectacular spells, a mind-blowing race through time, and an epic battle to stop mysterious forces, all while the future hangs in the balance… No Muggles! - About Harry Potter The Harry Potter series follows a young wizard named Harry who lives with his non-magical relatives until his eleventh birthday, when he is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. J.K. Rowling completed the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in June 1995 and was rejected by 12 publishers before Bloomsbury bought it. Rowling went on to write six sequels, which follow Harry's adventures at Hogwarts with friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley and his attempts to defeat Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard who killed Harry’s parents when he was a child. The books were transformed into a blockbuster series of eight films released over 10 years, which grossed more than $7 billion worldwide. The series has since prompted a massive amount of related merchandise including, but not limited to, clothing, video games, spin-off prequels, and a US theme park! Harry Potter and The Cursed Child opened at the Palace Theatre in 2016 to rave reviews and has been going strong ever since! The show also opened at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway in 2018 and is also still running.

We run a variety of different workshops across our different venues in the school holidays. Your children will do a mixture of hoop/ trapeze, silks and slings. They will also try their hand at some ground based circus skills, to give their hands a rest. This workshop is a great way to try aerial for any newbies. For our regular students these workshops allow a bit more time than our regular classes to focus on new moves and get some upside down in the holidays!

Family Acrobatics and Aerial Workshop

One of the highlights of our schedule is our Family Acro and Aerial extravaganza! A fantastic afternoon of fun and games for all the family. There must be one adult in a family group. Over the course of this 2 hour workshop, you'll all get the opportunity to take to the air with an aerial workshop. Let the kids fly by introducing them to some Silks and Trapeze - maybe even working on some doubles moves! Then over to Acro! Learning the basics of partner acrobatics. Have fun while learning to trust and communicate in a physical movement setting. If previous workshops are anything to go by, it'll be a fun filled session. Full of laughs, giggles and games! Come kick your weekend off with a Good FlyDay! Price shown is per person.

FAQ: How to find fun things to do with a teenager in London

Where can I find fun things to do with teens in London?

To find fun things to do with teenagers in London, use the Loopla search page. It lists events, activities and classes across the city. You can set the age filter to 13 and up to cut out everything aimed at younger kids.

You can also search for fun things to do with teens in specific parts of London. South Bank and Camden are the two areas we'd recommend. Both have markets to browse, lots of food stalls and street performers.

What free things can teens do in London?

Free things to do in London with teens include street art, markets and skyline views. You can watch artists work at Leake Street Arches, one of the few places in London where graffiti is legal. For views of the city from 500 feet up, there's Sky Garden. Tickets are free but you have to book in advance.

For young people interested in a career within the creative industries, North London's Roundhouse sometimes run free drop-in workshops or events.

Do teenagers pay adult prices in London?

Teenagers usually pay adult prices from the age of 16. At the London Eye, for example, child tickets cover ages 2 to 15 and adult tickets apply from 16. At the Tower of London, the child rate covers ages 5 to 15. Some venues set a separate rate for 16 and 17 year olds, so check the age bands before booking.

Do teenagers travel free in London?

Teenagers travel free on London buses and trams with a Zip Oyster photocard. The 11-15 Zip Oyster photocard provide free bus and tram travel, plus child-rate pay as you go fares on the Tube, DLR and Overground. It costs £15 to apply for. The 16+ Zip Oyster photocard provides free bus and tram travel to 16 and 17 year olds living in a London borough, and 50% off adult pay as you go fares. It costs £20. Both usually arrive within two weeks. Visitors can add a Young Visitor discount to a standard Oyster card for 50% off adult fares for up to 14 days.

Can teenagers go to activities in London on their own?

Teenagers can attend many London activities on their own from the age of 16. At the London Eye, anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Visitors aged 16 and 17 can enter unaccompanied, but cannot be responsible for anyone aged 15 or under. Cinemas follow BBFC rules, so under-12s need an adult for a 12A film and no one under 15 can watch a 15. Age policies vary, so check the venue before booking.
